There is help available for members unable to pay their electric bills.
In addition to protection through the Cold Weather Rule, we will work with members to set up a payment plan. Financial assistance agencies are also available to help provide funds for past-due bills for qualifying members. The Minnesota Department of Commerce has Energy Assistance Programs and resources available for members struggling to pay their utility bills.
If you are behind on paying your bill, you can take the following steps to prevent disconnection:
- Call Connexus Energy at 763-323-2650 to set up payment arrangements.
- It is important that you keep your payment arrangement to avoid disconnection. If you don’t think you can make a scheduled payment, contact us BEFORE the payment is due.
- Contact the financial assistance agency in the county where you reside here.
